🌊 Starting Small, Living Deep: My Soul Tides Wellness Journey
For most of my life, I’ve walked through experiences that shaped me in ways I’m still learning to understand. Healing, loss, resilience, starting over, rediscovering my purpose — all of it has woven me into who I am today. Yoga, spiritual growth, and mindful living have carried me through some of my hardest moments. They helped me soften when life felt sharp… and stand up again when I thought I couldn’t.
Hi Love, I’m Angel — the creator behind Soul Tides Wellness.
If you’re reading this, welcome. I’m truly grateful you’re here.

Because of everything I’ve lived through — the pain, the healing, the rediscovering of myself — I’ve grown a deep calling to give back.
To inspire.
To uplift.
To guide others toward peace, purpose, and self-love.
Not through perfection… but through compassion.
Soul Tides Wellness is my way of sharing what helped me heal, in hopes it helps you too.
And today, I want to give you three simple daily practices you can start immediately — no pressure, no overwhelm. Just gentle shifts that create real change over time.
🌿 1. Sip Something That Loves You Back: Daily Herbal Tea Rituals
There’s something incredibly healing about beginning or ending your day with intention. A warm cup of green tea or lemon ginger tea becomes a tiny act of self-love. I love using a Glass Tea Infuser Mug so I can watch the herbs steep—it turns a simple brew into a grounding visual ritual.
These teas support your body by:
-
soothing the stomach
-
calming the nervous system
-
supporting digestion
-
giving you a gentle boost of natural energy
But the real magic?
It’s the pause — the moment of quiet where you’re simply nurturing yourself.
Let your tea become a ritual… not a task.
🧘 2. Mindful Movement: Gentle Yoga & Daily Stretches
Movement doesn’t have to be intense to be meaningful. You don’t need to push, force, or fit yourself into someone else’s idea of fitness or flexibility.
If your body needs extra support during restorative poses, resting your back or knees on a Soft Support Yoga Bolster can make a world of difference.
Mindful movement means moving in a way that feels good for your body — not anyone else’s.
This can be as simple as:
-
A 5-minute gentle stretch
-
A slow morning yoga flow
-
Tai Chi circles to soften anxiety
-
Seated stretches at your desk
-
A walk around your home
-
Rolling your shoulders and breathing deeper
Your movement is valid even if it’s small.
Even if it’s slow.
Even if it looks different from someone else’s.
The goal is connection — not perfection.
Let your body lead.
Let your needs guide you.
And let your movement be an act of self-kindness.
🌿 A Little Something for Your Practice:
If you’re looking for a soft, comfortable space to land during your quiet moments, a thick, non-slip yoga mat like the [Retrospec Solana Mat] or a supportive bolster like the [Gaiam Yoga Bolster Pillow] can help give your joints extra love during gentle stretches.
Having a dedicated, comfortable spot makes stepping onto your mat feel like coming home to yourself.
🌬️ 3. Mindful Pauses: A Simple 2-Minute Daily Meditation
This is one of my favorite practices because it’s so simple and surprisingly powerful.
Take just 2 minutes each day to pause.
Close your eyes.
Stop doing.
Stop trying.
Just let your mind wander freely — like clouds passing in a quiet sky.
No controlling your thoughts.
No forcing yourself to relax.
Just being.
Over time, you can work your way up to longer pauses — 3 minutes, 5 minutes, even 10 if it feels good.
But start small.
Start gentle.
Start doable.
These tiny pauses create clarity because they give your mind space to breathe.
And when the mind breathes… the soul speaks.
To help signal to my brain that it’s time to slow down, I often roll a little Plant Therapy Organic Lavender & Frankincense Castor Body Oil onto my wrists before taking those two slow minutes.
🌙 The Beginning of Your Soul Tide
These practices may seem small, but small is powerful.
Small is manageable.
Small builds a life.
You deserve a daily moment of nourishment — physically, emotionally, spiritually. And as you show up for yourself in these little ways, you begin to rebuild trust with your body, your mind, and your spirit.
I’m here to walk with you on this journey, sharing inspiration, tools, meditations, movement, and soulful guidance along the way.
Thank you for being here with me.
Thank you for letting me share my heart.
And thank you for allowing me to be part of your healing and growth.
We rise together — one breath, one sip, one moment at a time.
Welcome to the tide, love. 🌊💙
