 Grounding and Centering

Welcome to this gentle practice designed to help you reconnect with your body, calm your nervous system, and return to your center. This meditation is perfect for beginning your day, resetting during moments of overwhelm, or winding down in the evening.

🌿 Preparation

  • Find a quiet, comfortable space where you can sit undisturbed.

  • Sit cross-legged or in a chair with your feet flat on the ground.

  • Rest your right hand over your heart.

  • Place your left hand over your solar plexus or stomach area.

🌬️ Breathwork

  1. Close your eyes gently and bring your awareness inward.

  2. Take a deep breath in through your nose for a count of four.

  3. Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of six.

  4. Repeat this cycle for 3 to 5 breaths, allowing each exhale to soften your body and calm your mind.

🧘‍♀️ Centering

  • Feel the warmth of your hands connecting with your body.

  • With each breath, imagine roots growing from your body into the earth, anchoring you.

  • With each exhale, release tension, thoughts, and distractions.

  • Silently affirm: "I am grounded. I am centered. I am safe."

🌞 Closing

  • Gently open your eyes.

  • Take a moment to notice how you feel.

  • Carry this sense of calm and connection with you into the rest of your day.

This practice is a simple yet powerful way to return to yourself. Repeat as often as needed, and let your breath be your anchor.
